Key insights

  • Insider selling of GAMB stock, as indicated by SEC filings, raises concerns about potential share dilution and downward pressure on the stock price. Large shareholders, including the former chairman and current CEO, have filed notices of proposed sales. While the CEO's past share purchases received media attention, these significant sale notices have been largely ignored, potentially impacting investor confidence and GAMB's stock performance.
GAMB stock worry: insider sale of security notices in SEC Filings

Pardon me for posting about GAMB aka gambling com stock here in Valueinvesting when probably its place is in pennystocks.

Those who keep an eye on GAMB stock forecast and earnings may have noticed that there are many 144 SEC filings about notice of proposed sale of securities in 2024-25. Of particular interest can be the notices related legacy bag holders like the former chairman Mark Blandford and related concerns Hay on Wye and Boatside investments. There are other big insider selling notices too in the Edgar SEC filing search.

Mark Blandford (with Boatside) still holds a reduced 20.5% as per the latest 20F GAMB company report available on the SEC website. Also noticed that the sunsetting CEO Charles Gillespie (11.2%) also owns shares through Praetorium Limited, PO Box 10240, registered in Cayman Islands.

Here is what amuses me and should possibly concern bagholders: some smart, longstanding GAMB stock insiders have diluted their stake at peak prices (which is history) while many of us are left holding bags! Many of us want the GAMB forecast to be high and GAMB share prices to rise. But once they rise, there is a risk of big sellers diluting stakes which can pull the prices down!

CEO Charles Gillespie buying 351,000 shares, some months ago, was covered on Reditt and news media but huge sale notices available in SEC filings on the official SEC website (not on the cherry-picked GDC group of gambling com investor relations pages) hardly gets any coverage in media!
