Does the stock price (not valuation) dictate were you'll invest ?

Does the stock price (not valuation) dictate were you'll invest ?

Probably an odd question, especially if you have easy access to fractional shares...

For example, I am closely following FICO and Adyen (and Lotus Bakeries, but that is even more extreme), both trade around 1k (FICO a bit more, Adyen a bit less). But one share represents what I can save up in two months.

So, today, after buying some dippy dips last couple of weeks, I have 1k left to invest in. I am considering FICO at 1.1k (undervalued to my eyes), but the idea that I might have a hard time buying again later because I do not have the funds just keeps me away from it. Same for Adyen. Sure, at 850e a share I could be a share, even stretch to two. But if it continues to grow as it does, it should in 5-6 years reach Constellation Software level of over 2k a share - which I'll unlikely be able to buy in again...

Just wondering how to approach it. I realise it is fairly easy to open brokers that allow fractional shares. I don't - mainly for tax reasons and because of convenience.

Anyway, curious to read your thoughts (or banter, I can hear them coming!)
