Hello everyone,
I always wonder what do other retail investors, especially value investors do at times of major volatility and market pullback.
What I've been doing for past several years was selling my defensive stocks that usually hold up well or even bump up a bit, when investors rush to safety. Then use proceeds to buy growth names that I've been eyeing for some time but couldn't buy because of valuation. OR/AND I am adding to my value stocks of choice.
This Q1 2026 was no exception, I have sold some of my pharma and commodities stocks and bought shares in Mercado libre, Master card, Sony, Kaspi and Uber.
Probably there were better opportunities, but I wasn't really prepared for this pullback and bought something I had prior research on. What do you think of my choices?
What have you been doing yourself this Q1 2026?
