NeutronX Corporation announced the appointment of Scott Mauvais, former Senior Director of AI and Global Partnerships at Microsoft Philanthropies, to support the company’s collaboration with NextNRG Inc. (NXXT).
Mauvais brings 23 years of experience at Microsoft, where he held leadership positions in artificial intelligence, civic innovation, and strategic partnerships. In his most recent role at Microsoft Philanthropies, he helped raise more than $120 million in philanthropic funding while working with the company’s largest customers and partners on social-impact initiatives.
Previously, Mauvais served as Director of Microsoft Cities, working with city leaders to apply technology to civic and urban systems. He also led the Microsoft Technology Center, where organizations worked with Microsoft to develop and validate advanced technology solutions.
At NeutronX, Mauvais will support the company’s work with NextNRG on AI-driven energy grid modernization, microgrid deployment, and infrastructure integration in urban environments. The appointment follows NeutronX and NextNRG’s exclusive definitive cooperation agreement announced February 25, 2026, which focuses on federal energy infrastructure projects.
Under the agreement, NextNRG serves as the exclusive technology and execution partner for government contracts secured by NeutronX in targeted federal energy and defense infrastructure projects.
