The author expresses skepticism about the stock's fundamentals but acknowledges the potential for outsized gains. This reflects a broader market sentiment of high-risk, high-reward bets on AI-related stocks, but the overall impact is slightly negative due to the speculative nature and lack of fundamental conviction.

I'm holding a very small amount of C3.AI stock as a means to scratch that "get lucky" itch. 99% of my portfolios are conservatively balanced with very moderate risk, but for whatever reason I'm including this embarrassing stock in one portfolio as a means to be imperfect and laugh whenever I see it. It makes no sense with regard to the other stocks I hold - it's just a random sh*t stock that I find humbles me whenever I see it. I always forget about it until I do a rebalancing scan. However, whenever I see it I think "what if"...what if this sh*t stock exploded in the future...I wouldn't even be excited if that happen, I'd just laugh at myself again.
