For the veteran investors here: has the stock market changed completely this year?
Right now it feels like if a stock has been going up strongly for a few weeks, people become very confident buying in because the momentum just keeps continuing. It almost feels “safe” to chase strength. Was it always like this?
Previously, did the top trending sectors and stocks continue climbing month after month as well? Or was it more common to see major pullbacks and full months of dips in between even during strong long-term uptrends?
