- A retail investor expresses concern about a significant portfolio decline and anticipates a gap down on Monday. The investor's high cash position (25%) suggests a cautious stance. The post reflects general market uncertainty regarding whether the market will experience another low or resume its upward trend.

I have alerts set up with IBKR for when my account is down more than 2% in a day. I got email notification this AM that it was down a bit over 3%. This has not really happened previously, or maybe it had once and I just don't remember.
While this could be due to a higher spreads over the weekend, I would expect the Monday to open with gap down. Luckily I had some shares called out to CCs, and CSPs expired, all on Friday, so I have about 25% of my account value in cash (which is even more concerning that the account is down over 3%).
What are everyone's thoughts on this? Are we going to see another low, or short term pullback and then ATH again?
