Kuros Biosciences names I.V. Hall as chief operating officer

Kuros Biosciences appointed I.V. Hall as chief operating officer effective June 1, 2026, the Swiss bone healing technology company announced. Hall will succeed Sjoerd Musters, who will remain with the company through August 1 to ensure a transition period.

Hall brings more than 30 years of medical device experience to Kuros, including 27 years with DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company. At DePuy Synthes, he held positions across research and development, commercialization and business leadership, ultimately serving as Global President of the Trauma, Extremities, Craniomaxillofacial, and Animal Health businesses. He also participated in the integration of Synthes into Johnson & Johnson.

Most recently, Hall served as CEO and Managing Director of Next Science, LLC, where he led commercialization of surgical infection prevention solutions and completed an asset sale to Demetra Holdings.

"As we enter our next stage of growth with a clear focus on translating scale into operational leverage, we are committed to building the organizational depth, infrastructure and product development capabilities required to deliver on our ambitious strategic plan," said Chris Fair, chief executive officer of Kuros Biosciences.

Kuros develops bone healing technologies and markets MagnetOs, an advanced bone graft product used across five continents. The company is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and operates locations in the United States, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

The appointment reflects Kuros’ focus on strengthening its presence in musculoskeletal applications and accelerating pipeline development, particularly in extremities markets where Hall has extensive experience.
