Federal Reserve chair Warsh reportedly brings in two conservative advisers

Investing.com -- Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh has reportedly brought in two outside associates to advise him as he takes on his new role, including one who previously authored a conservative policy document calling for major changes to the central bank's structure.

Paul Winfree, who served as a White House domestic policy specialist during the first Trump administration, is one of the advisers, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday citing people familiar with the matter. Winfree wrote the Federal Reserve chapter in Project 2025, a conservative policy blueprint created before the 2024 election.
