I wanted to share a tool I've been working on to help streamline analyzing SEC filings. I built it to get a quick gauge on a company without trawling through filing documents, particularly on small caps or companies with minimal coverage. I see it as filling the gap between doing a technical scan and deciding whether to do a proper deep dive. It doesn't replace your own process, it just helps you narrow down the candidates faster.
All the data, including financials come straight from the SEC filings, not a third-party data provider. It doesn't produce any 'AI buy/sell signals' (which are rubbish), it's unbiased, and it tries to present a company as honestly and transparently as possible. Kind of the antithesis of the pump sites that tell you XYZ is the next big thing (meanwhile they're out of cash).
Each analysis takes about 90 seconds. It pulls in the last ~12 months of filings and surfaces the financials, track record, concerns, guidance, etc., then synthesises it all into a plain-English read.
It's currently in open beta and free to use. I'd genuinely love this community's feedback, run a ticker you know well and tell me where it gets things wrong. The more brutal the better, that's exactly what I'm after right now.
