Ategrity Specialty Insurance Company (ASIC)

Full disclosure: I bought 2k shares around $19.39 today.

I feel this stock has flown under the radar since it’s IPO a couple years ago. I have been looking for good a good longterm value stock to invest into for a while and stumbled upon it last night. It’s managed by The Zimmer brothers chiefly Stuart Zimmer. They own and manage Zimmer Financial Services Group LLC privately. They have an investment arm (Zimmer Partners, LP) which value invests largely in utilities, energy, and infrastructure in the open market.

ASIC is majority owned and managed by the Zimmer family who also manages their portfolio through their investment arm. They offer property and casualty insurance to businesses (retail, real estate, hospitality, and construction sectors).

P/E 10.33

EPS 0.46

Zero debt

Little to no dilution since IPO

FCF 2025 140.7 million

Asset Footprint 1.47 Billion

Market cap 915m-945m

140,059 shares owned by insiders worth 2.7m

I know people have differing opinions on insurance companies so please do your own DD because this may not be an investment for you. But for me I am considering the management team behind this company, current P/E, earnings per share, consistent growth in earnings since IPO and the investing practices they use. I have longterm faith in this company and believe that it’s well worth adding to my portfolio.

Feel free to let me know if I missed anything or if you think it’s a bad investment. Hope this has been helpful!
