Seriously, I can’t think of anything that gives you less of an edge than this. You would even be better off doing the Peter lynch method and going to the mall to see what people are buying than looking at charts and graphs. Reaching out to former employees on LinkedIn, asking the opinions of customers, buying the product yourself, etc. are all better uses of time even if the edge they give you is minuscule. There is nothing special you could glean looking at them. Everyone in the world has access to ratios and charts, and many have the tools to compare, interpret, cross-reference, and analyze at a speed and scale you couldn’t imagine. Any edge you could get is entirely qualitative. Maybe save that tikr or finviz subscription next month.
