  • A solo developer created CrocoSight, a valuation tracking tool for long-term value investors focused on PE, PB, and PS ratios. It aims to reduce investment anxiety by excluding price charts and news. The tool covers US, HK, and CN stocks. While potentially useful for niche investors, its limited scope and lack of broader market context suggest a negligible impact on overall US equity market movements.
I got tired of investing apps making me anxious with noise, so I built a quiet tool to just track valuation history (PE/PB/PS). Looking for blunt feedback.

Most investing apps feel like they want me to stay anxious. Prices flashing, headlines everywhere, always some new reason to check again in ten minutes. I want something quieter. A tool I can open, look at valuation context, and close.

So I built this for experienced long-term value investors: someone who already knows the businesses they want to own and is mostly waiting for better valuation levels. If you review a shortlist and keep asking whether a business looks expensive or cheap relative to its own history, this might work well for you.

It's called CrocoSight. It lets you build a watchlist, search across US, HK, and CN stocks, and check PE, PB, and PS historical percentiles. There's also a detail view for longer-term percentile history, plus valuation reminders if you want a nudge when a name starts getting interesting.

What it doesn't do is just as deliberate. No price charts. No headlines. No social feed. No prompts trying to pull you into more activity. I'm not trying to replace research. I just wanted a cleaner way to check where valuation stands in its own history.

I’m a solo developer, so I tried to keep things simple. No account required. Checking any stock's valuation history is completely free. There's just an optional subscription if you want more watchlist room or reminders. And to be clear, it's just a tool, not investment advice, recommendations, or predictions.

I’d honestly love some blunt feedback from people here. If you think this is too narrow, missing something obvious, or aimed at the wrong kind of investor, say so. That's the useful part.

If this sounds relevant, let me know and I can drop the app link in the comments.
