Why stocks goes up when Trump says that Iran is defeated? Or "we won't attack them?"

This means pri would remain under Iran control. They sure would make more profit when oil price is high.

War or no war, oil price will stay high.

And if Strait of Hormuz is open but under yuan currency, it would hurt stock market and boost inflation (since Us import everything except digital services).

So i don't get it of people who says if US didn’t do anything now then oil price would drop. Nope. It would still remain closed.
