Key insights

  • Recent double-digit percentage gains in transportation stocks like KNX, SNDR, and JBHT, driven by favorable federal rulings and industry news, suggest a potential positive trend. While not a direct indicator of broad market movement, this sector-specific strength, moving away from tech-centric plays, could signal a rotation or increased investor interest in cyclical industries. Seeing double digit percent increases recently in the transportation sector and looking for feedback from others who follow the industry

A friend put me onto a couple trucking/ transportation stocks in March like KNX, SNDR, and JBHT. He was quoting a few federal cases and industry news which would increase share prices and I’ve seen a good return on about $5k initial investment between these three stocks after some of the rulings and news - KNX +19% SNDR +16%, and JBHT up 11% just in the last month. I’m curious and looking for feedback from others who follow or are holding transportation stocks. I understand fuel and things like that affect this industry, but I like to find other markets outside of the typical AI, chip or tech stocks that are a strong pick to hold for my portfolio. Does anyone else hold these stocks or have any insight on these or others?
