AI startup Anthropic is racing to contain the fallout after an accidental leak of its source code.

The company attributed the leak to human error. Now, Anthropic representatives are using a copyright takedown request to force the removal of more than 8,000 copies and adaptations of the raw Claude code constructions, according to the Wall Street Journal.
