Key insights

Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 fell 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Pepco Group Nv (WA:PCOP), which rose 4.02% or 1.33 points to trade at 34.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Zabka Group SA (WA:ZAB) added 1.28% or 0.32 points to end at 25.32 and Alior Bank SA (WA:ALRR) was up 0.87% or 1.10 points to 127.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were X Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski SA (WA:XTB), which fell 8.31% or 9.04 points to trade at 99.80 at the close. CD PROJEKT SA (WA:CDR) declined 7.54% or 19.00 points to end at 233.00 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW) was down 5.11% or 1.46 points to 27.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 331 to 234 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pepco Group Nv (WA:PCOP) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.02% or 1.33 to 34.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.97% or 3.73 to $90.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.23% or 3.12 to hit $93.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.43% or 64.68 to trade at $4,470.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was unchanged 0.05% to 4.23, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.00% to 3.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 99.10.
