I’ll preface this by saying I don’t typically trade individual stocks. I’m an index fund guy, I buy and hold VOO and few other ETFs for the long run.
Well, I had been messing around with a few tech stocks and happened to have some luck. I bought into AMD right before it went ballistic and same with Amazon. It’s not a crazy amount but I’ve more than doubled my money and I’m up about $4500 between the two right now.
My question is does it make more sense to hold my AMD & AMZN for the long run or sell on this high and reinvest into something safer like an index fund? Sorry if this is a dumb question I really have no idea what I’m doing.
