ARA oil stocks fall to lowest level since November 2014

Investing.com -- Total oil product stocks held independently in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp refining and storage hub declined approximately 1% during the week to reach their lowest point since November 2014, according to data released Thursday by Dutch consultancy Insights Global.

Overall stocks stood at 4.42 million metric tons, with the decrease driven by falling inventory levels across most products, with gasoline being the sole exception.

Gasoline inventories increased 7.5% to 1.11 million tons as blending activity in the region intensified, said Lars van Wageningen of Insight Global.

Gasoil and diesel stocks decreased 1% to 1.83 million tons as inland demand weakened while imports increased, Wageningen noted.

Jet and kerosene inventories fell 4.6% to 563,000 tons as exports to the UK rose and imports declined, he said.

Fuel oil stocks dropped 3.1% to 539,000 tons, marking their lowest level since November 2014, amid increased exports.
