Hey everyone,
I've been deep in the energy logistics space for years—facilitating crude oil sales, transportation, and supply chain optimization between producers, refiners, and end markets. Not trading futures from a screen, but the actual nuts-and-bolts: chartering vessels, pipeline coordination and risk management in volatile corridors. With the recent geopolitical ripples tightening supplies and highlighting logistics bottlenecks, it's been a reminder of how critical reliable midstream operations are. Margins in transportation and offtake agreements can provide a different risk/reward profile than pure upstream E&P more contractually backed, less exposed to single-well outcomes. We're not chasing retail hype. Our model has always been B2B partnerships with serious players: long-term offtake deals, joint ventures on routes, and scaling capacity where demand meets infrastructure. We've delivered consistent flows for clients even through past cycles. Curious from the community:
- How are you thinking about energy exposure right now ETFs, direct assets, midstream MLPs, or something else? * Anyone with experience in commodity logistics investing? * What due diligence questions would you ask a facilitator in this space?
Genuinely open to sharp feedback and conversations. If there's real alignment (accredited/qualified parties only), happy to discuss specifics privately. Transparency is key no smoke and mirrors. Looking forward to your takes.
