Looking for Investment ideas

Key insights

  • An investor is seeking concentrated investment ideas beyond broad market ETFs (VOO, QQQM) and factor ETFs (SPMO). They are considering individual stocks (ADBE, MSFT, NFLX) and private equity firms (BX, BLK, KKR, Blue Owl). The investor's interest in concentrated positions suggests a slightly bullish sentiment, but the lack of specific catalysts limits the overall market influence.
Looking for Investment ideas

So I'll start by saying I am not a novice, have a securities license, a 6/63 so I am familiar with mutual funds and ETF's and most of my money is in those. I would say 50% of my investments are VOO or similar, 20% is QQQM or VUG or similar. Pretty boring but steady.

But I also know that my ideas aren't the only ideas so looking for some thoughts.

I have added SPMO in the last few years and it has been a shining star. Particularly since the March rebalancing. And I intend to continue to contribute to it.

I have played around in the PE space, I owned APO for awhile but I was tired of the volatility. I have looked at BX, BLK, KKR and just not sure. I hear a lot about Blue Owl but it's all negative (which might be actually a buying opportunity).

I've been thinking about the Charlie Munger quote:

"Diversification is protection against ignorance; it makes little sense if you know what you are doing."

Funds by nature are diverse, I'm looking for something to make a bigger investment in. Ideas?
