- An investor is considering selling 50% of their Palo Alto Networks (PANW) stock due to a belief that the current price may have "priced in" a perfect outcome for the upcoming earnings report. While acknowledging the company's strong position in cybersecurity, the investor anticipates a potential stock drop even with good numbers and aims to re-enter at a lower price. This suggests a neutral short-term outlook for PANW, with potential for volatility around the earnings release.

Hi all,
I own 20 PANW stocks. I do like the company. They have a recurring revenue system and they are in every layer in Cyber security. I think they have a quitte strong proposition
I currently have 60% profit. Tuesday is the number presentation and i think that at the current price a lot if priced in to perfection. So even with good numbers the stock could go drop tuesday.
Therefore im thinking to sell 50% of my position. I do believe that cybersecurity will grow more and more in the future. But with this high of a stock i think i can buy them cheaper.
What are your toughts on this?
Thank you
