- The increasing demand for photonics in AI hyperscalers, driven by limitations of copper interconnects, has led to significant gains in related stocks like Cisco, Marvell, and Intel. While these stocks have already experienced substantial growth, the continued expansion of AI infrastructure suggests potential for further upside, though entry timing requires careful consideration.

I have stocks in NBIS and Iren and there are a lot of mentions about "photonics" since copper interconnect is the bottleneck for AI hyperscaler.
Started doing some digging and Cisco, Marvell, Credo, Astera labs, Coherent, Lumentum, Nokia, Macom, and Intel are some of the major companies that have hand in "photonics" and have since sky rocketed in the past year or even months, gaining 2-3 times.
Is it too late to get into these stocks? Do you guys think there is still room or would it be a bad move buying them now?
