- Yimutian (YMT), a Chinese agricultural B2B platform, will implement a 15-for-1 reverse ADS split on May 18, 2026. While the company expects a proportional increase in ADS price, there's no guarantee. The split aims to consolidate shares, but its impact on US equity markets is minimal, primarily affecting holders of YMT's ADSs.

Yimutian Inc. (YMT) announced plans to change its American Depositary Shares ratio from one ADS representing 25 Class A ordinary shares to 375 Class A ordinary shares, effective May 18, 2026.
The change will function as a 15-for-1 reverse split for ADS holders, who will exchange every 15 existing ADSs for one new ADS. JPMorgan Chase Bank serves as the depositary bank and will arrange the exchange process.
The company’s ADSs will continue trading on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol YMT. No fractional new ADSs will be issued, with fractional entitlements aggregated and sold by the depositary bank. Net cash proceeds from fractional ADS sales will be distributed to applicable holders after deducting fees, taxes and expenses.
The ratio change will not affect the company’s underlying Class A ordinary shares, and no ordinary shares will be issued or cancelled in connection with the change.
Yimutian stated that ADS trading price is expected to increase proportionately upon the change’s effectiveness, though the company provided no assurance that the post-change ADS trading price will equal or exceed 15 times the pre-change price.
Yimutian operates an agricultural B2B platform in mainland China, focusing on digitalizing the country’s agricultural product supply chain infrastructure.
