
AE Fuels Corporation (AEF) reported rock chip sampling results from its Pearana area at the South Woodie Woodie Manganese Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara District.
The company collected 302 surface rock-chip samples across multiple prospects. At Pearana, sampling confirmed high-grade manganese mineralization over a 3.5-kilometer strike, with multiple assays exceeding 30% manganese and a peak result of 51.8% manganese.
Additional sampling at other targets returned a top assay of 57% manganese at Pothole and 32.6% manganese at Sharks Fin. The Pearana South prospect yielded a peak result of 35.0% manganese.
The Pearana area is located approximately 30 kilometers north of AE Fuels’ Contact resource deposit area within the Woodie Woodie manganese district. The prospect is hosted by Pinjian Chert Breccia, which serves as the principal host unit for manganese mineralization in the district.
AE Fuels has commissioned a 3,249-station high-resolution gravity survey to identify shallow, high-grade manganese bodies. The survey will be conducted at 40-meter station spacing across Pearana and the Pothole-Sharks Fin corridor. Perth-based Resource Potentials will provide survey planning oversight and data processing.
The company’s existing Contact mineral resource contains 11.3 million tonnes at 15% manganese grade under NI 43-101 standards. AE Fuels is targeting completion of a pre-feasibility study in 2027.
Gary Lewis, CEO of AE Fuels, stated the company aims to "find additional near-surface high-grade manganese that can supplement the existing resource base and support our strategy of producing high-purity manganese products for battery and advanced technology markets."
