is it a good buy ? im 19 and started a sip

I’m 19 and just started investing with a ₹1,000/month SIP for the long term (planning at least 5 years).

Current split:

- ₹500/month in Bandhan Small Cap Fund

- ₹500/month in HDFC Silver ETF FoF Direct Growth

I put my first ₹500 into each at the current NAV/price shown in the app when I bought, and I plan to continue the same monthly.

My thinking was:

- small cap for higher long-term growth potential

- silver for diversification since it doesn’t always move exactly like equities

I know both can be volatile, and I’m okay with short-term ups and downs because this is money I don’t need immediately.

I’m mainly trying to understand whether this is a sensible way to start, or whether a 50/50 split is too heavy on silver for someone my age.

Would you keep this allocation for 5 years, or would you shift more toward equity/index funds instead?
