Embraer sees revenue boost from electric aircraft subsidiary

SAO JOSE ‌DOS ​CAMPOS, ​Brazil, June 9 (Reuters) - Brazilian planemaker Embraer ‌expects electric aircraft subsidiary Eve ⁠to contribute $1 billion to $1.5 billion ‌of revenue per ‌year after its production ramp-up, Chief Executive Francisco ​Gomes Neto said on Tuesday.

  • Estimate would ⁠depend on market performance in the segment, ​Gomes Neto told reporters.

  • Eve's electric vertical takeoff ​and landing (eVTOL) vehicle ‌is currently expected to be certified ⁠and enter into service in 2028.

  • Embraer forecasts group ⁠revenue at between $8.2 billion and $8.5 ​billion this year, aims to achieve double-digit billions of dollars by ‌2030 "or even earlier," Gomes Neto said.

  • ‌Embraer confident it will ⁠meet its ‌2026 full-year ​guidance.
